Tasks & Implementation
- Developed a GitHub integration for opening and saving versioned Excalidraw files.
- Implemented a web editor and real-time collaboration with separate editor and viewer roles.
- Built a web application and collaboration service with PostgreSQL persistence and versioned Flyway migrations.
- Separated the public product source, Docker Compose quickstart and documentation from the internal deployment process.
RESULTS
What came out of it
- Diagrams can be edited directly from a connected GitHub repository and saved back as a commit.
- Shared diagram sessions connect collaborative editing with the versioned project artifact.
- A self-hostable stack with demo mode, public documentation and automated container releases is available.
